Hospice care improves comfort and quality of life for patients with a terminal diagnosis. Hospice is a benefit covered by Medicare/Medicaid, most private insurance, and is provided wherever patients call home. Our teams provide holistic, compassionate end-of-life care to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of our patients. We respect the unique wishes of each individual and provide expert local care with dignity. We focus on medical needs, family support, and improving quality of life. The benefits are greatest when hospice care is provided early to allow for patients, families and caregivers to be supported by a team of experts.
