Support Groups
General Caregiver Support Group

Caring for another adult can be a rewarding and joyous experience. It can also hold a tremendous number of challenges and feelings. As a caregiver you may find it helpful to know other caregivers often have the same emotions, concerns and successes. Our caregiver support group allows caregivers to come together for an afternoon of support to one another through discussion and information gathering. The group meets at the same location as the day center but in a room outside of the activity area. There is no charge for participation and it is open to anyone caring for an adult with physical or memory loss. The meetings are facilitated by qualified persons from Prairie Adult Care and Senior Community Services. Free respite care is available in the day center with This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
