Home Instead Senior Care Edina is proud to announce their annual Be A Santa To A Senior program. The program is designed to provide gifts and some holiday cheer to local senior citizens who might not otherwise receive anything at Christmas time.

Home Instead Senior Care and local Lund’s/Byerly’s pharmacies have again partnered with us this year for this wonderful program. Christmas trees are placed in the pharmacy area of the stores. Lund’s/Byerly’s customers take a paper ornament from the tree, purchase the indicated gift and take it back to the store for collection by Home Instead staff.

Cher Kuechle, owner of the Edina franchise of Home Instead stated; “Lund’s/Byerly’s have been an ardent supporter of this program throughout the years and have been wonderful to work with”.

There are 5 stores within the franchise coverage area. They are Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Richfield, and two Edina locations. The trees will be in place in the pharmacies from November 1st until December 16th with a volunteer wrapping party on December 17th. The volunteer wrapping party is from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. located at the Richfield Community Center, located at 7000 Nicollet Avenue South, Richfield.
